Big news: Ebb and Flow Photography is heading north.
From June to August 2026, I’ll be based in Darwin, soaking in the golden sunsets, warm dry days, and that laid-back Northern Territory energy and yes, capturing unforgettable weddings across the Top End.
If you’ve been dreaming of a wedding that feels a little more you; raw, natural, full of soul, and totally grounded then a Darwin Dry Season wedding might just be the vibe. And I’d be honoured to document it.
From late May through to October, the Dry Season transforms Darwin into something magic. You get:
This is Darwin at its best; and the energy is unmatched.
Darwin weddings are laid-back luxury. They’re for couples who want to ditch the cookie-cutter format and do something that feels more intentional, connected, and memorable.
Think:
“There’s a rhythm up north that makes you breathe deeper. It’s unhurried. Present. And it seeps into every part of your day which makes for the best kind of wedding photos.”

Mindil Beach delivers nightly perfection, with the sun melting into the Timor Sea. Add in a market atmosphere, live music, and your people gathered on picnic rugs? Unreal.
From Litchfield’s waterfalls to the sun setting over the Timor Sea, from heritage buildings in the CBD to the Darwin Waterfront, the Northern Territory is an open-air studio. You bring the love story, I’ll find the light.
Many couples opt to turn their Top End weddings into full weekends. Pre-wedding drinks at Hanky Panky Lounge, sun set ocean cruises, brunches by the bay, and of course a little get away to Kakadu or Litchfield, it’s the kind of experience your guests will never forget.
Unlike southern states, Darwin’s Dry Season brings near-guaranteed sunshine. Your outdoor ceremony? It’s happening. That al fresco dinner? No need for a marquee.
Darwin’s wedding scene is growing, and the vendors here are some of the most passionate and down-to-earth people I’ve worked with. Together, we’ll help bring your vision to life in a way that feels authentic and artful.
I’m not just chasing sunshine (although, let’s be real, it helps). It’s the slow pace that is so ideal, like being at home in Gippsland, Darwin has an un-rushed pace, it’s real. And what I’ve found in the Top End is this: authenticity.
Weddings here feel sacred, not because they’re staged, but because they’re real. The kind of days filled with slow moments, belly laughs, golden light and deep love.
If that sounds like your kind of wedding, I’d love to be part of it.
Whether you’re eloping beside the river or planning a weekend-long celebration with all your people, I’m now taking bookings for:
